A website for a premier archaeological journal

Heritage360 is working with Antiquity Journal and Cambridge University Press to explore how journal content can be found by readers through intuitive, accessible means.

Heritage360 began work in 2023 on a new website for Antiquity Journal. Antiquity was founded in 1927 and has around 400 issues, containing articles on a broad range of archaeological topics from scientific/methodological to theoretical; prehistoric to recent history.

In addition to research articles, the journal publishes shorter pieces about recent and ongoing archaeological work, known as the 'project gallery'. It also has a comprehensive book reviews section. The journal's content is made available online via Cambridge Core - a content access platform provided by its publisher Cambridge University Press.  However, Antiquity is keen to maintain and develop its own website to provide additional search tools and functionality to its readers beyond that available in Cambridge Core.
