Heritage360 was commissioned in 2023 to upgrade the website of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA), the leading professional body representing archaeologists working in the UK and overseas.

CIfA's website is a key outlet for communication with its 4000+ members, whilst simultaneously providing a publicly-accessible platform for presenting its work in:

advocacy within the planning sector;producing and disseminating standards, guidance and regulation within the heritage sector;offering training, CPD and careers information for both members and non-members;providing information for individuals and organisation seeking to commission archaeological work.

The CIfA website is also home to around 20 'Special Interest Groups', which focus upon specific topic areas and specialisms within the fields of heritage and archaeology. Additionally, it also provides a popular online bulletin detailing job vacancies within the sector.

Powering the website's membership facilities, which includes online subscriptions/renewals, events booking, etc, is CiviCRM, a popular, open-source Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform designed for non-profit organisations.
